Tech 3 ships aren't as simple to design and fit as tech 1 and 2. Work at your fitting for a while and you'll eventually see tech 3 ships can deal around 500 DPS while tanking around 500 DPS. With the signature radius of a cruiser, that's extremely impressive.
EDIT: And yes, that includes the Tengu. It can deal over 550 DPS with heavies and over 600 with HAMs while having a tank of around 550-600 DPS. This is all with T2 gear, the trick is to active tank it and use cap rigs. It may look like a drake but it's a better active tank than passive if you want to actually deal decent damage.
Last is my alt, SO wait im supposed to active tank it? even since that is a PVP 101 no no? I thought active sucked alot in PVP.
Why are they active ships?
Also to beat a BS like ammar id have to have a energy nuet right and kill there cap? But Could I break a 900 dps BS tank with a 100 k buffer? It doesnt seem easy but ive seen gal ships tear em apart. Also what makes T3 so much better than Caracal for offense?

I must be doing something wrong with eft im usin the drone setup since i want them to be able to ward off frigs etc but i used
2-2-1-4-1 setup for subsytems and got 391 dps and with a drake "HAM" setup 2 large shield extender 2 invulns, 3 BCS its still about 75 ehp. But I do use HM`s because I want fullrange.
Do i have to setup EFT differantly ?
I usually get smaller DPS and EHP then you guys even on my Lvl 5 guys.
Anyways I hope they T3 BC it with Drake and come out with T3 Heavys/Hams  it would own almost anything.

Yep jus tdid it with the 900 dps and huge tank and it equaled 341 dps with 60 k ehp and that was with my lvl 5 guy...Do ii have to make resists for enemy 0 or something? Just not working, I get these numbers in my drake.

Check and check new version ammo to t2
Ok its up to 440 dps, please gysp just explain why a 5 slot HAM with 3 BCS t2 would be so much greater on T3 then 5 slot with 3BCS
is there some bonus im not aware of that would change it so drastically? Also im using HM`s not hams.

Merin/Sera your right...my subsytems were to 0 and now im getting 700dps from your setup...Wow im impressed now :)and 86k ehp lol awesome ok im training towards it now :) and best part is making me better at drake makes me better at this.
